Moving into the holiday season I always pause, reflect on the year past and consider the year to come. CCRC has gone through a number of changes this past year and we continue to look ahead to new opportunities.
Our Housing Resource Centre has undergone some changes and allowed us to focus on our core work of eviction prevention and housing retention. In partnership with CMHA and OneCity we also recently launched a new program to help those involved in Housing Unit Takeovers. We know people who find themselves in these situations are some of our community’s most vulnerable residents and need specialized support. We are thankful to have received fundign from Reaching Home through the United Way of Peterborough for their generous support for this project.
